A driver sustained injuries after a bolero pickup truck he was driving rammed into a parked truck on National Highway 6 in Ri Bhoi today.
The pickup truck bearing registration number ML 12 – 1202 was proceeding towards Shillong loaded with goods. However on reaching Umdihar the driver lost control of the wheel and rammed into the truck (RJ GB – 8292). The incident occurred at around 1 pm.
The driver was shifted to Civil Hospital Nongpoh for medical treatment.
