An unknown man died by suicide by jumping into the Ward’s Lake here today, police said.
The incident happened at around 7 am. The person is said to be around 40-45 years of age, about 157 cm in height and medium built.
The body is being kept in the Shillong Civil Hospital morgue for identification and claim.
