State BJP youth wing vice president, Wallambok Khongwir today took a jibe at Shillong MP, Vincent H Pala over his media statements and stated that he was “talking business” instead of issues affecting common man.
“The MP keeps talking and seeing other people’s businesses instead of speaking about the important issues in the parliament which is unfounded,” he said.
Stating that Pala should speak up more about unemployment, the grievances of teachers, MCCL employees, ASHA workers, and development of the state Khongwir said, “The people of the state chose Pala as their MP not for him to always talk about business.”
Stating that when the Congress was in power both at the centre and the state even in Assam, he said his government did nothing on the boundary issue. The ILP was rejected by the same party in Meghalaya because they have no concern for the indigenous people of the state, he added.
