Assembly Speaker and UDP president Metbah Lyngdoh today said that he would take up the Meghalaya-Assam boundary agreement soon with Chief Minister Conrad Sangma.
Speaking to media persons here today, Lyngdoh said that concerns are being raised by various organisations on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to settle the boundary dispute between the two states.
“I will definitely sit with the Chief Minister and there are other things also that we need to discuss. Let the Chief Minister come, I will discuss with him the boundary issues. All sections of the people are raising their concern about the boundary issue. So I will have a word with him,” Lyngdoh said.
