BJP national executive member Banani Sharma today held a review meeting on the central flagship programme, Poshan Abhiyaan in South Shillong constituency today.
Members of the BJP South Shillong Mahila Morcha, MLA Sanbor Shullai and BLO from Assam Sushma Bhattacharjee were present at the meeting.
Addressing the programme Sharma appealed Anganwadi workers to come forward and speak out on the difficulties they face in the implementation of Poshan Abhiyaan and to report of any discrepancies to the central leaders.
She assured the Anganwadi workers that their problems will be taken up with the central leaders.
State BJP Mahila president Judy Surong stated that they will constantly monitor the implementation of Poshan Abhiyan in entire state.
During the programme, Shullai extended financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh under the DG grant 2021-22 to 100 Anganwadis.
