Suspended Congress Legislature Party leader Ampareen Lyngdoh will not be inducted in the MDA cabinet.
This was stated by Chief Minister Conrad Sangma while speaking to media persons here today.
“She had mentioned specifically that even though she may not be accommodated, she is okay with it. She said she would like to work in a productive manner and support the government in whatever way possible,” Sangma said.
It may be mentioned that recently there were media speculations that cabinet minister Dasakhiatbha Lamare to make way for Lyngdoh.
The speculations came after four rebel Congress MLAs – Process T. Sawkmie, Mohendro Rapsang, Kimfa Sydney Marbaniang and Mayralborn Syiem were appointed as co-chairmen in the MDA government on February 18.
The four MLAs led by Lyngdoh have been suspended by the Congress party for extending support to the MDA government without the knowledge and consent of the party.
