The budget session of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) will begin on March 8, meaning that it will clash with the Assembly session, which will begin on March 4.
New elected Chairman of the KHADC Lamphrang Blah today informed that a notice has been sent by the council’s Secretary to each MDC. However, it has not been decided how many days the house will sit for.
Several MDCs are also MLAs in the Assembly. When asked if the two sessions will clash, Blah was sure that no such problem will arise.
