The spell of wet weather that parts of Meghalaya experienced today will continue on Saturday, the Indian Meteorological Department has informed.
Hail, heavy rain and dense fog was present in several parts of the state and the inclement weather will continue on Saturday before improving thereafter.
Temperatures in the state yesterday were recorded at up to 3 degrees Celsius lower than normal. Rainfall recorded (mm) since 0830 in morning of 04 Feb 2022
Rainfall recorded at 8:30 am today was 9.0mm in Tura, Williamnagar (35.0mm), Nongstoin (13.0mm), Mairang (11.0mm), Byrnihat (5.5mm), Umiam (7.5mm), Amlarem (1.0mm) and Shillong (10.2mm), Sohra (1.8mm).
