Three people, including one minor, were injured after a truck crashed into their home along National Highway 6 at 18th Mile, Ri-Bhoi, today.
The lorry (NL 01 AF 3307) was being driven by one Dunjal Marak (24), a resident of Mendipathar in North Garo Hills.
The vehicle was proceeding towards Guwahati from Shillong when, at high speed, the driver lost control and veered off the road and into the house of one Rangparkhat Kharmalki.
The driver, his handyman and a two-year-old boy named David Suting (son of Suklang Suting) received minor injuries. They were taken to Nongpoh Civil Hospital for treatment.
