The life of Subhash Chandra Bose was remembered with solemnity and pride here today, the 125th birth anniversary of the Indian freedom fighter.
The Greater Shillong Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Birthday Celebration Committee celebrated the occasion at the State Central Library premises here by garlanding Bose’s statue and releasing balloons.
Dignitaries included the committee’s founder general secretary Manas Chaudhuri, adviser J L Das, president Naba Bhattacharjee, general secretary Pankaj Deb and others.
