Meghalaya is set to participate at the 1st East Zone Sub-Junior Roll Ball Championship organised by Roll Ball Federation of India and Assam Roll Ball Association to be held in Dispur Skating Rink, Guwahati from tomorrow till December 20.
The championship for the 14 age group will be led by Badondor Ryntathiang (captain), Kevin Dkhar, Adriel Shangoi, Hubert Nongkynrih, George Chyrmang, Gareth Kharbyngar, Vijay Das and Shamar Hajong. The team coach is Suklang Dkhar, the secretary of the association.
The championship will also see Odisa, West Bengal, Bihar, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Chhattishgarh and Jharkhand teams.
