The Hynñiewtrep Integrated Territorial Organisation (HITO) has filed a written complaint with Chief Secretary Rebecca V Suchiang about alleged breaches of Covid-19 protocols during the campaigning for the upcoming Assembly by-elections.
“It is quite apparent that, during the campaigns, the Covid protocols were completely flouted by the parties,” HITO said.
With other public gatherings, attendance is limited to 50 people but hundreds, if not thousands, of people gathered at campaign rallies, it added.
