To commemorate the 186th death anniversary of the great patriot U Tirot Sing, the Meghalaya Chess Association (MCA) in collaboration with Khasi Students’ Union (Central Body) will organise an Online Chess Championship on July 17 at the chess platform of tornelo.com.
The competition consists of open category and age category of under 10, 12, 14, 16 and18. Winners will receive cash prizes and certificates.
This chess competition will be organised by Swiss system of six rounds and the time format is 10 minutes 5 seconds increment for each round.
