The office of the Block Development Officer Mylliem today convened the Block Level Covid-19 Management Committee meeting headed by the Hamletson Dohling MLA, of Mylliem constituency.
At the meeting the MLA stressed on the need for the Dorbar Shnong and the people to work together with the government to control the spread of the virus.
He urged the people to take the vaccine and assured that it has no side effects.
Stating that speculation is that the COVID cases may double in the next two three weeks, he said that the government does not want another lockdown to be imposed in the state but if people are reckless and does not follow protocols cases will keep rising and a lockdown will have to be imposed.
