Dist administration issues prohibitory orders

In partial modification of the order of the East Khasi Hills district administration prohibiting opening of shops and establishments, roadside markets and roadside vendors, both in fixed premises or otherwise, in Shillong Urban Agglomeration on Sundays, till further orders, and also to order issued on April 22 in which shops and vendors as per list contained therein shall remain closed from April 26 to May 2 in Shillong Urban Agglomeration, the District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills in an order issued on Saturday has extended the areas falling under Mylliem C&RD Block from 7th Mile, Upper Shillong, up to Mylliem-Bah, Madan Ing Syiem, Mylliem including Madanrting, Mawblei, Laitkor, Nongkseh, Umlyngka and Lawsohtun, till further orders.
