At least four cases of theft were reported to have taken place yesterday in the city. Of these, three were from cars.
Pyntngenlang Kongwang lodged a complaint that yesterday between 4:45 pm and 6:30 pm, miscreants stole his bag containing office identity card, car key, office documents, etc from his vehicle (ML-08C-7676), which was parked near City Hut Dhaba.
In another incident, Michael Lyngdoh lodged a complaint that yesterday at around 6 pm, miscreants stole one bag containing office identity card, music system, cash of Rs 700, etc from his vehicle (ML-05Q-5640), which was parked opposite the Court and Office of the District and Session Judge.
Azia Myrboh lodged a complaint that yesterday at around 8:30 pm, miscreants stole a car battery, vehicle documents, etc from her Maruti car (ML-05J-9413), which was parked at Oakland Road.
Another person N Misao informed police that yesterday, miscreants broke into his residential quarter at DAD Residential Complex, SE Falls and stole cash from the Church missionary donation box.
