Dolph Kharrinam and Prederick Sangma from Meghalaya and four others from other states have been selected to represent India in an online BMX rider contest known as ‘Battle of the Nations’.
Each country will be represented by a compilation video showcasing the team’s highlights from their E-FISE video entries and fans will be able to vote for their favourite nation.
‘Battle of the Nations’ offers athletes the opportunity to win the chance to come and compete in the biggest live action sports event in the world – FISE Montpellier 2021.
But in order to win the contest, the two youth from Meghalaya need to garner votes.
“We are currently ranked fifth among 46 countries. We need a lot of support in order to win, and time is of the essence as the voting closes on December 13. Considering India’s population we stand a chance to win if only many Indians vote for us for our country,” Kharrinam said today.
Winning this contest will give the two youth from Meghalaya the opportunity to represent India again in the main event in France. The link to vote is: https://www.e-fise .com/en/nation/India.
46 countries are competing in the ‘Battle of the Nations’. The current ranking and votes garnered are – Mexico (2326), Brazil (931), Columbia (678), France (594) and India (367)
