Khliehriat, Nov 6: The Career Guidance and Placement Cell of Jaintia Eastern College, Khliehriat, organised a career mentoring programme to guide and motivate students in making informed decisions about their future careers.
The session was led by founder of the North East Youth Foundation, Guwahati Ranjan K. Baruah. He guided students on career planning, identifying personal strengths and exploring new opportunities.
Every student is unique, he said, with different abilities, interests and aspirations. Students should not follow the crowd, but pursue careers that match their own potential, stay open to learning and decide thoughtfully about their future, he added.
The programme was chaired by B. Papang, Member Secretary of the Cell, and gave students a chance to clear their doubts and get a wider view of career options.
