Shillong, Oct 23: A·chik Society for Ownership of Native Grounds (ASONG) has reshuffled its Central Executive Council for 2026.
The organisation will be led by President Greneth M. Sangma and General Secretary Shiva R. Sangma. Former GSMC leader Salniang A. Sangma joins as Chief Organising Secretary.
The council said it will strengthen units across five districts of Garo Hills and protect A·chik native land and culture.
District tours will be held soon in Baghmara, Williamnagar, Resubelpara and Ampati.
