Shillong, Aug 20: The tournament committee of the Shillong Sports Association has adjusted the kick-off times of the remaining matches of the ongoing Shillong Premier League 2026.
Fewer hours of daylight coupled with unpredictable monsoon weather mean that the SSA has brought out a comprehensive revised fixture list. Prioritising player safety, pitch integrity and fair competition, timings have been adjusted across the remaining matches.
The change in timings will come into effect from Friday with the crackerjack Mawlai versus Shillong Lajong match – the new kick-off time will be 5:30pm for another meeting between these former champions who always deliver high quality action when they go head to head.
