Shillong, Jul 23: The Khasi Students’ Union (KSU), Education Cell recently felicitated three students who excelled in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Advanced) and secured admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT).
Richbhalang Kharshiing secured AIR 15 in the ST Category and was admitted to Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at IIT Bombay. Dasannaki Bareh Lyndem secured AIR 281 (ST Category) and will join Mathematics and Computing (MnC) at IIT Indore. David Bajop Christopher Gatphoh secured AIR 461 (ST Category) and has been admitted to Electrical Engineering at IIT Indore.
KSU lauded the students who have brought recognition not only to their families but to the state and the community. The union expressed hope that their achievement would inspire other students to study hard and excel academically.
The union said it is optimistic that more talented students from the state would bring name and honour to Meghalaya through academic and other achievements in the years ahead.
