Shillong, Jul 20: The district administration of South West Garo Hills has urged eligible students to apply online for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2027 before July 31, 2026.
The test is for admission to Class 6 at JNV Kendrikona and is scheduled to be held on November 28, 2026.
JNVs provide free residential education with boarding, lodging, textbooks, uniforms and other facilities at no cost. The scheme gives special focus to talented children from rural areas.
Officials have asked parents, teachers, school authorities and village leaders to help spread information, especially to students in remote areas.
Applications can be submitted online through the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti admission portal.
