Shillong, May 25: The North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) has directed all affiliated colleges to strictly comply with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and admission guidelines issued by the university and the Central Admission Committee (CAC) with regards to admission process for undergraduate (UG) programmes.
The university said spot admissions prior to the declaration of CUET results are not permitted and any admission processes for non-CUET candidates will only occur after accommodating all CUET-based applicants.
Failure to comply with these admission guidelines may result in necessary actions as per university regulations, a statement today said.
The university urged students, parents, and stakeholders to rely solely on official communications to avoid any misinformation and ensure a fair and transparent admission process across all affiliated colleges.
