Marak emphasised that women have progressed in all walks of life despite challenges and their routine household duties. He added that when people, organisations and communities give generously, opportunities and support for women increase and when women thrive the society rises.
Kulkarni also spoke about the presence of women in all sections of the workforce, including doctors, engineers, lawyers and entrepreneurs, who have achieved success despite different challenges. She emphasised the importance of implementing women-specific schemes and participation in self-help groups, enabling women to improve their families’ economic condition and strengthen the future of society.
