Shillong: Dec 11: The Department of Health and Family Welfare will observe National Immunisation Day 2025 under the Pulse Polio Programme in East Khasi Hills on December 15, which will be followed by two days of house-to-house search activities.
All children below the age of 5 will be given oral polio drops and all efforts will be made to ensure that no child is left unimmunised.
All parents are requested to bring their children below the age of 5 years to the designated booths in their respective villages/localities for vaccination. The department also requested the headmen, NGOs, church leaders and community organisations to extend their cooperation to ensure the success of the programme.
