Shillong, Nov 14: The All Meghalaya Karate-Do Association is proud to announce that Larisha Kurbah has been called up for a Senior National Coaching Camp that will take place at the Sports Authority of India’s Lucknow centre.
Larisha has won many medals in state tournaments and has also brought glory to Meghalaya at national events, such as a gold in the India Open International Karate Championship 2023 in New Delhi, silver at the SEIKOKAI All India Karate Championship 2024 in New Delhi and silver at the DEO HAH All India Karate Championship 2024 in Guwahati. Most recently, she took bronze at the Senior National Championship 2025 in Hyderabad.
The Lucknow camp will run from 17 November to 31 December.
The 19-year-old Larisha is in the -61kg women’s individual kumite category.
