Shillong, Oct 31: The Academic Insights Magazine, a prominent Indian monthly publication, selected Mahbubul Hoque, Chancellor of the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM), as India’s 25 most inspiring education leaders.
Hoque has established fourteen institutions under the expansive umbrella of Education Research and Development Foundation (ERDF) over twenty-three years, with only four students, and expanded his educational enterprise from KG to UG to PG to PhD, with over 10,000 students.
This recognition of Chancellor Mahbubul Hoque goes beyond an individual honour – it is a celebration of North East India’s rising stature on the national education map, and a testament to the power of perseverance, purpose, and people-first leadership, the university said in a press release.
