The Meghalaya Yogasana Sports Association will send five trainees from different districts to attend a national level coaches’ training programme at the National Institute of Sports, Patiala, Punjab from July 2 to 8.
The trip is being sponsored by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs. The association said in a release yesterday that it will carry out similar programmes, such as judges’ training, athletes camp, trainers’ training, etc in order to prepare for the 39th National Games in 2027, which Meghalaya will host.
