Four cows were burnt to death after a shed went up in flames in Mookhep, East Jaiñtia Hills District today.
The incident occurred at around 12: 30 pm.
The cause of the fire is unknown. Owner of the shed, Shyamanath Roy said the fire department tried to douse the fire but it spread too soon that it engulfed the shed and the cows in it.
