Four Bangladesh nationals were arrested while attempting to illegally cross the international border from South West Garo Hills district in Meghalaya.
The Border Security Force (BSF) said troops of the 50th Battalion detected suspicious movement along the border and promptly acted, leading to the apprehension of the Bangladeshi nationals who are residents of Mymensingh, Gajipur and Nogaon District of that country.
The individuals were handed over to Mahendraganj Police Station for further legal action.
