Meghalaya earned a further two medals in watersports today at the 38th National Games in Uttarakhand, with a silver in canoeing and bronze in rowing.
Indra Sharma won silver in the men’s canoe slalom C1 event, while the pair of Kiran Devi and H Anandhi took bronze in the lightweight women’s double scull – a two-person row boat.
These medals follow on from Pynshngain Kurbah’s bronze in canoeing yesterday.
At the time of filing this report, with one silver and two bronze Meghalaya is now 29th out of the 30 teams that have won medals so far at the Games. A further seven teams have yet to win a medal.
