As a part of National Integration Project under Military Civic Action, 35 differently-abled children and four staff members of Ferrando Rehab Centre, Agartala today visited Raj Bhavan, Shillong.
Commissioner and Secretary to the Governor Dr. B.D.R Tiwari extended greetings to the visitors on behalf of Governor B. D. Mishra, who is currently out of station.
Tiwari gave them a tour of the majestic grandeur of Raj Bhavan including its sprawling lawns. To commemorate the visit, mementoes were also distributed to the visiting students and staff members.
The students are on a six-day tour visiting places like Silchar, Guwahati and Shillong. During the tour the students will visit places of interest like museums, war memorials, science cities and places of tourist attraction.
The tour programme is organized by the 18 Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (E).
