Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has announced that all three units of the Ganol Hydro Power plant are now synchronised with the grid, raising the estimated annual production to 65 MU.
“This marks a significant milestone in our journey towards self-sufficiency of power. Thanks to everyone, who made this possible,” Sangma tweeted.
The foundation of the project was laid in 2014. The project worth Rs 560 crore was inaugurated on January 4 this year.
