TESPRO (Theological Extension Study Programme) Shillong held its 31st convocation here on Saturday.
Accredited by Carey Institute of Theology, Delhi, TESPRO awarded diplomas, certificates and degrees to more than 220 graduates and recognised the contributions of two individual Christian leaders – Rev SG Momin and Rev Edwin H Kharkongor – with honorary doctorates in divinity. These are Rev SG Momin and Rev Edwin H Kharkongor.
More than 2,000 Christian faithful have graduated from TESPRO since it was founded.
The function was presided over by Rev John Thomas, president emeritus of TESPRO and the programme. The Most Rev Purely Lyngdoh gave the convocation address.
