Two State climbers have been selected to undergo training for ‘Judges and Route Setter Course’ for sports climbing to be held in Sikkim.
Fullmoon Donkupar Lyngdoh Lyngshiang, an accountant with Lady Keane College and Teimiki Sungoh from Shangpung village will take part in the training to be held at Indian Himalayan Centre for Adventure & Eco- Tourism (IHCAE), Chemchey which started today till October 30.
Meghalaya Sport Climbing and Mountaineering Association (MeSCMA) president, Malviancy Shabong informed that the training is being conducted by the Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) New Delhi and the course is sponsored by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs through Meghalaya State Olympic Association.
