Shillong, May 29: Sixteen kickboxers from the Meghalaya State Kickboxing Association Kickboxers (MSKA) left for Odisha today morning to participate in the Junior Boys’ and Girls’ National Kickboxing Championship, which will be held from May 30 to June 3.
The Meghalaya contingent comprises 14 boys and two girls and is led by international kickboxer Daniella IW Mylliemngap as coach. The championship, to be held in Khurda, is being organised by the Odisha State Kickboxing Association under the aegis of the WAKO India Kickboxing Federation.
The MSKA has won over 100 gold medals since 2017 and much is expected of this particular crop of kickboxers.
