Students of IIM, Shillong were today treated to a silent drill performed by the women commando warriors under SF-10 called the ‘Meghashakti’.
The event was attended by Director General of Police Lajja Ram Bishnoi, IIM Shillong Director Prof. DP Goyal, faculty members, officers, staff and students.
The DGP also interacted with the students and encouraged them to dedicate at least 30 minutes every day to sports. He emphasized that this practice could enhance their focus on studies, which will also contribute to their overall fitness and well-being.
The institute said that the event provided an opportunity for all to learn and experience positivity and it emphasized the crucial importance of supporting and empowering women.
