Shillong, Jul 3: Women Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are leading voter awareness efforts under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls across South West Garo Hills, particularly in rural areas where women play a crucial role in the electoral process.
As part of the campaign, women BLOs are conducting awareness meetings in villages to educate voters about the objectives and procedures of the SIR exercise, while encouraging eligible citizens to verify and update their electoral details.
