Nangbha Rymbai of Panaliar, Jowai was adjudged the winner of the Khasi Traditional Show, 2023 organised by the Khasi Indigenous Foundation.
Melisha Shylla of Umsiang Mawpdeng, Ri Bhoi District and Dawanrihun Lyngdoh Mawlong of Diengsiar, East Khasi Hills district won the second and third place respectively.
The competition was held online from October 10 to October 25.
The show was aimed at showing love, respect, and regard to the traditional values.
Cash prize to the winners was given by the Directors of the foundation Precious Stone Sumer, Niman N Shadap, Seaspiar Tangliang and Pyniolad Kyndiah.
