South West Khasi Hills is likely to experience heavy rainfall until Wednesday in isolated areas, the Deputy Commissioner said in a warning to the public.
“Therefore, citizens and officials are requested to remain alert, to take appropriate precautionary measures, to make interim FIRs immediately and inform the Deputy Commissioner,” the DC said, adding that there will likely be thunderstorms, lightning and very heavy rainfall.
