The Umsning Block Development Officer and Extra Assistant Commissioner of Ri-Bhoi, Raja Brahma, has tested positive for Covid-19.
Brahma was tested after one of his colleagues had recently tested positive for the virus and Brahma also returned a positive result.
Brahma is now isolating at his quarters in Nongpoh, he informed today. He advised the public not to panic and said that following protocols and guidelines would be adequate to fight Covid.
