Additional Director General (HR) Ram Prasad Meena of the Border Security Force (BSF) reviewed the current security scenario and discussed various operational and administrative aspects of border management on his two-day visit to Meghalaya, which concluded today.
Yesterday, Meena was welcomed by Inspector General of the BSF Meghalaya Harbax Singh Dhillon and other senior officers. The ADG was briefed about the current security scenario along the Indo-Bangladesh border in Meghalaya.
Meena also paid visits to Chief Secretary Donald P Wahlang and Director General of Police Lajja Ram Bishnoi.
Today, the ADG’s visit concluded after addressing officers and jawans during a Prahari Sammelan at the BSF’s Umpling headquarters and visiting the under-construction composite hospital building at Mawpat.
