An unidentified man, believed to be a Bangladeshi national, was found in an unconscious state at around 1:15am on April 6 in Regrampara, West Garo Hills, and later died in hospital.
The man, of around 18 to 25 years and 5 feet in height, was taken to Dalu community health centre for treatment and then referred to Tura Civil Hospital. However, he passed away on April 8.
The body was subjected to an autopsy and, with all legal formalities completed, the body can be collected from the hospital morgue within 72 hours. Those wishing to claim the body can contact the hospital on 6009308862 or the police control room on 8837423053.
