The Silver Jubilee celebrations of St. Claret Seminary in Umsning culminated in a solemn note with a holy mass today.
Bishop of Nongstoiñ Diocese Wilbert Marwein administered the holy mass in the presence of Fr. Ferdinand Dkhar, Bishop of Jowai Diocese, Fr Pius Turuthiyil, Provincial Superior Province of North East India, Fr Tomy Akkapadickal, Superior St. Claret Seminary, Umsning, Fr Pius Shadap, Parish Priest Umsning and other priests, sisters and faithful of the Catholic Church.
The Bishop exhorted St. Claret to move forward in serving the church spiritually and to work together for the betterment of people in the society and community as a whole.
St. Claret Seminary was established in the 1998 as an institute to train youth to become priests.
