Dead body unclaimed
One male patient, name unknown, aged 38 was admitted to the ICU of Shillong Civil Hospital in the morning of May 11 and passed away in the afternoon of the same day.
Concerned relatives are requested to collect the dead body from the hospital morgue within three days, failing which it will be disposed of by the Shillong Municipal Board.
Dry days in EJH
The Deputy Commissioner of East Jaintia Hills has declared a dry day on May 23, 24 and 26 in three areas of the district – Ladrymbai Dongwah, Ladrymbai Khliehdupon and Dienchynrum on account of Rymbai Dalloiship Election.
All IMFL retailers, bars, canteens and outstills in the areas mentioned above shall remain closed on those days.
Laban Bengalee Boys School ex-student meet
