In a move aimed at supporting vulnerable households, Nartiang MLA Sniawbhalang Dhar has initiated a programme to distribute roof tin sheets to 5,000 impoverished families within his constituency.
The distribution programme commenced yesterday. A total of 600 households in Wahiajer and adjacent villages in West Jaiñtia Hills received the roof tin sheets.
The scheme prioritises poor households and those requiring roof repairs throughout the constituency.
