Shillong, Oct 12: A two-day residential specific skill training programme was held at the Extension Training Centre (ETC) in Tura for students of the Kasturba Gandhi Bal Vidyalaya (KGBV).
Organised by the District Mission Coordinator, SSA, Tura, the programme saw participation from students of Jengjal, Selsella, Tikrikilla, Dalu and Dadenggre KGBV schools.
Led by Dome R Marak, District Coordinator of KGBV, the training programme focused on imparting skills in art and craft, including making necklaces, doormats and paper mache. Competitions in singing, dancing, recitation and a quiz were also organised to engage and entertain the students.
