The Directorate of Higher and Technical Education today announced that the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) has extended the date for submission of both fresh and renewal applications for the Umbrella Scheme of Pre-Matric and Post Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Tribes (ST) students for the year 2024-25.
As per the revised schedule, November 30 is the closing date for application registration by students, both for fresh and renewal applications.
Institutes are required to complete the verification of applications by December 13. The last date for verification of applications by the State government is December 17.
This scheme aims to support ST students pursuing their education by providing financial assistance at both the pre-matriculation and post-matriculation levels.
