Police in Jorabat seized Rs 2 lakh in fake Indian currency notes (FICN) at Baridua, Ninth Mile, along the interstate border with Assam today.
Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted a search operation and arrested one man who was in the possession of the fake currency and the machine the counterfeits were made on. The suspect was identified as Budhi Sambyo.
