Shillong, Sep 30: The Additional Deputy Commissioner Pynursla Civil Sub-Division informed today that closure of the road between Laitlyngkot and Lyngkyrdem (Chainage Kms 24+00 – 37+00) will be relaxed for October 1 and October 2.
The daily traffic restriction will be re-imposed on October 3 from 11: 30 am to 4 pm and 9 pm to 4 am.
All commuters and members of the public are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution while commuting through this stretch and to avoid taking non— essential travel during or immediately after heavy rainfall and also during night-time.
Emergency health services will be facilitated during the closure periods and they may contact the Pynursla Police Station at 6909217154 for any co-ordination requirement with the construction company.
